Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to make a great first impression on buyers before they enter your house. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers shape their initial perception of your house and how you keep up your house's regular maintenance.
Understanding this helps us to decide what actions we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with refreshed paint and bright greenery we'll need to tackle those issues. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer picture themselves hanging out in your living area, relaxing in your master bedroom or getting work done in your home office? We want your home to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of comfort. I'll help you achieve this by recommending small improvements that highlight your house's features.
I'll advise you eliminate things that give the impression of clutter. Table and counter tops should be clutter-free. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Unattractive or messy spaces make your home look less spacious and buyers have a harder time picturing themselves living there.
I'll look over every room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that need brightening, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively affect the sale.
We'll ensure your house is neutral and that it's inviting, staying away from "loud" or "personalized" colors on the walls and furniture. And if the house is empty, you can think about renting furniture. You want your place to look inviting as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
In the short time that your house will be on the market, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Brightness is a mood changer and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to show off your home. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look around your home and assure a nice scent flows room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your sofa and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your home is their future home. |
